The Daisy Change Method - Clarity

Posted by Hayley Esther on Friday, December 27, 2024
I've given this a lot of thought and prayer. I've decided to take you through the Daisy Change Method which is our signature art of change management program, here in this blog.

As the year comes to a close, you may be thinking about the year ahead. Starting to plan for what's coming and think about what you want in life. December is often a month of reflection.

With that in mind let's get started on our art of change management process.

First we need to get really clear on what we want and where we are going.

Here are 12 questions to answer for yourself as the year closes.

1. What have I learnt over the last year?
2. How have I growen over the last year?
3. What would I change about the last year?
4. Who do I think I am now?
5. What needs to change over the coming year?
6. What creative solutions can I see for the changes needed in the coming year?
7. How am I going to go about implementing this change?
8. What are my skill gaps?
9. How can I fill those gaps this coming year?
10. What am I committed to this coming year?
11. What hurts?
12. How can I heal?

These questions are designed to help you get really clear on where you are , where you have been and where you are going.

If you were sat in a mentoring session with me, I'd walk you through these questions one by one over a few sessions. There's a lot here and so we have to remember it's not a race, we can work at our own pace.

Journal the answers to these questions down by hand if you can. They will really help you gain clarity on your current state.

If you need help feel free to email me on my personal contact.

Here's to finishing the year strong and building a better future.

A Crash Course In Christianity

Posted by Hayley Esther on Monday, December 23, 2024

Today we are going to have a crash course in Christianity
Why do this? Because apparently my audience want it.

You're welcome.

A Crash Course in Christianity: What You Need to Know

Christianity is one of the world’s largest religions, with over 2 billion followers across the globe. Whether you’re curious about its teachings or want a refresher, this crash course will walk you through the essentials of Christianity, explained from a Christian perspective.

---

What Is Christianity?

At its core, Christianity is a faith centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christians believe in one God who reveals Himself as three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—this is known as the Trinity.

The Bible, Christianity’s sacred text, is divided into two parts:

1. The Old Testament – The Hebrew Scriptures, telling the story of creation, the fall of humanity, and God’s covenant with Israel.

2. The New Testament – The story of Jesus Christ, His teachings, and the growth of the early Church.

---

The Story of Christianity

Creation and the Fall

Christianity begins with the belief that God created the world and declared it good. However, humanity chose to rebel against God (this event is called “The Fall”), introducing sin and brokenness into the world.

God’s Plan for Redemption

The Old Testament outlines God’s plan to rescue humanity through a chosen people, Israel, and the promise of a Messiah—a Savior who would restore humanity’s relationship with God.

The Life of Jesus Christ

1. Birth: Christians believe Jesus is God in human form, born to the Virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit.

2. Ministry: Jesus taught about God’s Kingdom, performed miracles, and called people to repentance and faith.

3. Death and Resurrection: Jesus was crucified, taking the punishment for sin upon Himself. Three days later, He rose from the dead, demonstrating His victory over sin and death.

The Early Church

After Jesus ascended into heaven, His followers, known as Apostles, spread the message of salvation. Despite persecution, the early Church grew rapidly, fueled by the belief that Jesus was alive and working through His people.

---

Key Beliefs of Christianity

The Trinity

Christians believe in one God who exists as three persons:

God the Father (Creator),

God the Son (Jesus, the Savior), and

God the Holy Spirit (the guide and sustainer of faith).

Salvation by Grace

A cornerstone of Christian faith is that salvation is a gift from God. Humans cannot earn it through good works; it’s freely given through Jesus’ sacrifice.

The Church

The Church is not just a building—it’s the global community of believers. It serves as a place for worship, teaching, and mutual support.

The Sacraments

Many Christian traditions observe sacraments, sacred rituals like:

Baptism: Symbolizing a new life in Christ.

Communion (Eucharist): Remembering Jesus’ sacrifice through bread and wine.

---

How Christians Live Out Their Faith

Worship

Worship is central to Christianity, including practices like prayer, singing, and reading the Bible.

Living a Moral Life

Jesus taught His followers to love God and love others. Christians strive to live by these principles, guided by teachings such as:

The Ten Commandments.

The Sermon on the Mount.

Sharing the Gospel

Many Christians see it as their mission to share the message of Jesus with others and serve those in need.

---

The Big Picture: Christian Denominations

While all Christians share the same foundational beliefs, there are different branches within Christianity, including:

Catholicism: Emphasizes tradition, the sacraments, and the Pope’s authority.

Protestantism: Focuses on Scripture alone as the ultimate authority.

Orthodoxy: Known for its rich liturgical tradition and emphasis on mystical worship.

---

The Christian Hope

The Return of Christ

Christians believe Jesus will return to judge the world and establish a renewed creation.

Eternal Life

The ultimate hope of Christianity is eternal life with God—a promise for all who trust in Jesus.

---

Final Thoughts

Christianity is a faith built on the love of God and His desire to redeem humanity. Its message is simple yet profound: God offers salvation to anyone who believes in Jesus Christ.

If this sparks your curiosity, consider exploring further by reading the Bible, praying, or connecting with a local Christian community. The journey is worth it.

A Christmas Stripped back

Published from Blogger Prime Android AppA Christmas stripped back.
For many of you Christmas is not a easy thing to celebrate. You're in hiding and there for unable to do the festive dance of Christmas without serious risk.

I want to be sensitive to that audience but at the same time acknowledge the holiday for those of you who do celebrate it.

Happy holidays to one and all reading this right now.

To those of you for one reason or another who are crystal ops right now. Well done for holding your position when all about you is tempting to break cover. You can do this.

You have what it takes to be strong in the face of weakness. When you feel that strength is gone remember God can carry you if you ask Him. Your situation may not change but He will be your strength to get through it if you ask Him.

Having reviewed my stats I can see that most of you following this blog are not OG.

So when I refer back to posts I've done, its your first time reading them.

This is freeing because it means I can move on from the last era of blogging and bring you fresh new content that is designed for the audience I now have.

This blog aims to serve, we have had several topic shifts in the past and im happy to shift again.

What I need to know is what do you want?

I'm looking at my audience and I have some idea of what you need but to do this im going to have to shift again.

See, most of you live in eastern countries and I am a westerner. I can and have written content for the east but im very aware that you need different things then we do in the west.

In order to serve the audience I now have, I think we need to take things back to where Daisy Change originally started , mental health and faith, Christian faith.

Not the shiny packaged faith of contempery christianity, but the grittier real soulwrenching faith that is going to get you through what you are facing.

I know that most of you reading this are in a situation where you don't have the luxury of being out and proud about your faith in Jesus. You are facing some very real dangers.

I want to be sensitive to that audience, so from now on we build you up so you can face the day.

To the persecuted church reading this, thank you for trusting me. I will work hard to ensure the posts going forward are sensitive to your needs.

To any westerners reading this, the content will still be for you, but with that sensitive slant on it for our persecuted brothers and sisters in eastern countries.

We're going back to authentic faith.

Let's go!

The Gospel of Jesus Christ for Iran

A Message of Hope and Love: The Gospel of Jesus Christ for Iran

Dear friends,
We come with a message of hope and love, rooted in the eternal truths of God. It is a message that transcends borders, languages, and cultures—a message of peace and salvation through Jesus Christ.

God's Love for All People
The Bible teaches us that God created the world and everything in it, including each of us. He knows you personally and loves you deeply. The Scriptures say, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). This love is for everyone—every nation, every tribe, and every individual.

Our Need for God
Each of us has sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard. Sin separates us from God, but He does not leave us without hope. He desires a relationship with you and has made a way to reconcile us to Himself.

The Good News: Jesus Christ
Two thousand years ago, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world. Born of a virgin, Jesus lived a sinless life, teaching love, forgiveness, and truth. He willingly gave His life on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins. On the third day, He rose from the dead, defeating death and proving His power to save.

The Bible promises, "If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). This salvation is not something we earn; it is a gift from God, received through faith.

What This Means for You
Jesus invites you into a personal relationship with Him. He offers peace for your heart, forgiveness for your sins, and eternal life in His presence. As you trust in Him, He will guide you and fill your life with purpose and joy.

Iran has a rich spiritual heritage, and God’s hand is at work among its people. Today, you can be part of His unfolding plan. Will you open your heart to Jesus?

A Simple Prayer to Begin
If you want to invite Jesus into your life, you can pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again to give me new life. Please forgive me for all my sins. I invite You into my heart. Be my Savior, my Lord, and my guide. I choose to follow You. Thank You for Your love and grace. Amen.

A New Journey
If you prayed that prayer, know that you are now part of God’s family. He promises to be with you always. We encourage you to read the Bible, seek fellowship with other believers, and grow in your faith.

God is calling His people in Iran to be a light in the darkness, sharing His love and truth with the world. May you find peace, hope, and life in Jesus Christ.

With love in Christ,
Your brothers and sisters in faith

How To Honer The Ultimate Ancestor

Posted by Hayley Esther on Saturday, November 16, 2024
A Message of Hope: The Gospel for a Japanese Audience

In Japan, the beauty of nature, the values of harmony and respect, and the deep longing for peace and purpose reflect something profound about the human heart. These qualities point to a greater reality—a Creator who made us and everything around us with love and purpose.

This Creator, whom the Bible calls God the ultimate ancestor, is the source of all life. From the beginning, God made us to live in a close relationship with Him, experiencing His peace (what Christians call shalom) and joy. However, we see that the world is filled with suffering, conflict, and emptiness. This separation is because of something called sin—our tendency to live apart from God's ways and design.

In the Bible, God reveals His love for all people, including the Japanese people. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to restore what was broken. Jesus lived a perfect life, full of compassion, wisdom, and power. He healed the sick, welcomed the outcast, and taught about God's Kingdom—a kingdom where justice, love, and peace reign.

But the greatest act of love came when Jesus willingly gave His life on the cross. He died to take the punishment for our sins, so that we could be forgiven and made whole. His sacrifice was not the end of the story—Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death itself. Through His resurrection, He offers eternal life to anyone who believes in Him.

What does this mean for you?

Forgiveness: No matter what your past holds, God offers forgiveness through Jesus.

Purpose: Your life has meaning because God created you uniquely, with a role to play in His plan.

Hope: Even in the face of life's struggles, Jesus promises to be with us and lead us to eternal peace.

Becoming a follower of Jesus is not about abandoning your culture or traditions. Instead, it is about letting God bring His light and love into your life, transforming everything from the inside out. Just as a cherry blossom tree blooms in season, God desires for your life to flourish in a new and eternal way.

If this message speaks to your heart, you can respond by turning to God in prayer.

> A Simple Prayer
"God, I want to know You. Thank You for loving me and sending Jesus to save me. I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I choose to trust Jesus as my Savior and follow Him. Please guide me in this new life. Amen."

This is the beginning of a journey. God invites you to walk with Him daily, learn more about His Word, and find encouragement through others who follow Jesus.

The Gospel is good news for all nations, including Japan, and it is an invitation to the life of peace, purpose, and hope that only God can give.

How To Survive A Witch Attack.

How to survive a  witch attack

If you are unlucky enough to be singled out by a witch, its not easy to shake off their attacks. Witches are sneaky, experts at gas lighting and very precise in their craft.

That said, other then the obvious rebuking the attack in Jesus name, their are a few things you can do.

Firstly don't be isolated, it makes you an easy target.

Secondly, identify what the witches end goal is. Are they looking to kill you? Drive you mad? What exactly is the witch going for that is attacking you?

I've had witches attack this blog, their goal was to get me to shut up.

Not happening.

Once you know what the witch is going for, identify their territory's. It might be possible to physically move out of their space. It might be necessity.

Running is not weakness, but at the same time don't be chased out of a space in which you are fulfilled.

Stay grounded, protect your emotional regulation because you may need to make some firm decisions to deal with this, and its best to do that from a sound mind.

Practice self defense but don't fight back unless you know what you are doing.

Letters to life 2 - My Spiritual Awakening Journey

Posted by Hayley Esther on Monday, November 11, 2024
Ok life, it's been a while since I've written to you. Sorry about that. You got in the way of time to sit down and type.

Anyway, to day I thought we'd talk about my spiritual journey. You see i have now expirenced "enlightenment" and I gotta say it's not all it's cracked up to be.

I had the inner peace, sense of zen and connectivness but it has nothing on the peace I experience in Jesus.

I had the "light of many occultic truthes shining on me" but not one of those truthes had anything on the truth found in Jesus.

I have ventured the road less traveled and less recommended and it has taken me to some dark places. That's ok though, the holy spirit was always with me lighting the way. I learnt the secrets of the occult for educational reasons but upon the discovery of frequency I felt no need to engage in ceremonial magik although I read the books. I witnessed the deception first hand.
You life, led me on a winding road, one that ventured into the darkness even when I felt the tugging of Christ on my heart. Had I listened, maybe I'd still be in London. I did not though and I instead found myself flat on my face home in Wales. There are ofcourse other reasons but falling in the dark when holy spirit had gone ahead of me home to Wales , was a big part of my journey.
I have had involvement with several secret societies, but of course they don't exist so what more can I say? Delusion. It's hard to see through the thick fog of spiritual depression but somehow I made it through that. I learnt all about dark enlightenment then the vanilla breed, I learnt the secrets of the light are black. They fall so short of Jesus the genuine article . We've done eastern mystisim and western esoteric teachings. A myrid of religions and schools of thought but nothing has landed so solid as standing right back where I started. Standing on the rock of Christ Jesus.

That is where I am now, right at the begining back to my first love, Jesus Christ.

From here, life we build you up.

With the right foundations in place this time I can't wait.

The Dangers of "Enlightenment" from a Christian Perspective

Posted by Hayley Esther on Monday, November 11, 2024
The Dangers of "Enlightenment" from a Christian Perspective

In our culture, the idea of "enlightenment" is often portrayed as the pinnacle of human achievement, a path to ultimate freedom, knowledge, and personal fulfillment. People pursue it through philosophy, spirituality, and self-help trends, aiming to transcend ordinary experiences. While seeking truth and meaning is natural, enlightenment as understood in many contemporary movements may pose real dangers from a Christian viewpoint. Below, we’ll explore why the quest for enlightenment, when it steps away from God, can lead to spiritual peril, moral confusion, and disconnection from the very truths that set us free.

1. Self-Deification: The Idol of Self

At the core of many enlightenment movements is the idea of self-deification—becoming "god-like" in wisdom or power. Some approaches to enlightenment advocate self-realization, not merely as growth, but as a divine awakening where the self becomes central. This philosophy echoes the oldest temptation in Scripture: when the serpent tempts Eve in the Garden, he says, “You will be like God” (Genesis 3:5).

For Christians, however, this emphasis on the self as the source of all truth and divinity is dangerously deceptive. Scripture tells us that there is only one God, and that we are His creation, designed to worship and glorify Him. Isaiah 42:8 reminds us that God will not share His glory with another. When enlightenment moves into self-worship, it draws us away from God, encouraging us to trust in our own wisdom rather than in His divine guidance.

2. Undermining the Authority of Scripture

Enlightenment philosophies often promote the belief that truth is relative or that it can be found by looking inward. But Christianity teaches that ultimate truth is found in God’s revelation through Scripture. Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

By looking within for truth, enlightenment philosophy may subtly push Christians to question or devalue the authority of the Bible. Instead of seeking God’s wisdom, people are encouraged to rely on subjective feelings or insights. This can lead to a type of spiritual relativism where individuals may create their own personal beliefs, cherry-picking doctrines and practices from various sources without accountability to God’s Word. The outcome? A shallow, subjective faith that lacks a firm foundation in God’s truth.

3. Spiritual Warfare: The Risk of Deception

Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Enlightenment practices can open doors to spiritual experiences that may feel enlightening but are, in reality, spiritually dangerous.

Many traditions, especially in New Age or esoteric practices, advocate meditative techniques or mystical practices that aim to open the mind to otherworldly influences. For Christians, engaging in practices that invite unknown spiritual forces poses a grave risk. The Bible is clear that we are to avoid anything that connects us to spirits or forces other than God, as such practices can lead to spiritual bondage rather than freedom (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

In pursuit of enlightenment, people can be drawn into deceptive, dark, or even demonic influences without realizing it. Scripture encourages us to remain vigilant and spiritually sober, discerning every spirit to avoid being led astray by false teachings or deceptive influences (1 John 4:1).

4. The Illusion of Self-Sufficiency

Another core danger of enlightenment philosophies is the idea that we can achieve fullness or wholeness entirely on our own. The Christian understanding of human nature is that we are deeply in need of God’s grace and love. Romans 3:23 states, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” emphasizing that we cannot achieve salvation or righteousness by our own efforts.

The belief that one can be entirely self-sufficient or "self-enlightened" promotes a false narrative about our human limitations and need for God. While we can certainly grow in knowledge and wisdom, our deepest spiritual needs—salvation, grace, and redemption—come only from God. When enlightenment becomes a way to bypass that dependence, it distances us from the redemptive work of Jesus and from the saving grace we are offered.

5. Loss of Humility and the Call to Serve

Christianity teaches that humility and service are essential virtues. Jesus Himself, though He was God, took on the nature of a servant, humbling Himself even to death on a cross (Philippians 2:5-8). Many enlightenment philosophies, however, subtly or overtly focus on personal greatness, power, or superiority, leading individuals to pursue self-glory over humility.

The drive for enlightenment can create an inward focus that leads to pride rather than humility, making one’s own “higher state” or awareness the goal. When we lose sight of humility, we also risk neglecting our call to serve others. The Christian life is not one of constant self-improvement for personal gain but one of growth that brings us closer to God and leads us to serve those around us in love.

6. Turning Away from the Ultimate Source of Light

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). True enlightenment, from a Christian perspective, is found in Jesus Christ. He is the source of all wisdom, truth, and life. Seeking enlightenment outside of Christ is ultimately a pursuit that leaves us empty because it turns us away from the one who is Himself the Light.

The danger of enlightenment outside of Christ is that it can feel like illumination, even though it ultimately cannot lead to the fulfillment, peace, and freedom that only Jesus provides. Without Christ, any enlightenment we experience is incomplete and, in the end, will not lead us to eternal life.

Conclusion: Pursuing God’s Light over Human “Enlightenment”

While seeking knowledge and understanding is natural and good, Christians must be discerning about where and how they seek this enlightenment. True enlightenment comes not from transcending human limits through self-deification or subjective truths but from a humble submission to God, a faithful life grounded in Scripture, and a commitment to serve others in love.

As we pursue deeper understanding, let us remember that only in Christ will we find the truth, light, and life we seek. By aligning our lives with Him, we protect ourselves from the subtle dangers of enlightenment philosophies that promise much but ultimately fall short of His perfect truth. The goal is not personal glorification but the glorification of God, who is the true source of all light and life.

The Truth About Enlightenment

Posted by Hayley Esther on Friday, November 08, 2024
The Truth About Enlightenment.

I'm on my own journey and here's where I'm at ..

The truth about enlightenment is that it is not one size fits all. Some people find enlightenment in their chosen god or goddesses, others find it in the idea we are gods and others still find it in the aha! Moments of understanding enough of the worlds workings to feel satisfied.

The sad truth however is that enlightenment is not the end of the journey it is the begining. When you reach that enlightened state, you realise thàt you know nothing despite knowing things.

Great Books For Savvy Artists.

Posted by Hayley Esther on Sunday, November 03, 2024

One tiny little lesson before I give you what you came for, our book recommendations for savvy artist's life and business. I read a lot so I have a lot to say in just a moment but before we get there.

It doesn't feel right to overload my awesome readers with content after such a heavy post like the last post. Click here if you didn't see it.

So instead of that, we have decided to put out today's post celebrating world book day, then leave posting for a while to give time and space and respect to our loved ones currently grieving.

Hope that's cool with you guys!

Anyway, 's let's get on with it, shall we?

I have decided to put this in 3 sections and there are roughly 12 books in all. Calm - Fearne Cotton  If you want something a little more gentle then Fearne Cotton has got you covered. All of her books are fab, but this is my favourite.

Feel The Fear And Do It Anyway - Susan Jeffers This was such a good book that really helped me get over myself so that I could just get on with getting my art up online. It's been one heck of a journey ever since, and I owe that in part to the lessons and simple writing style of the late, great Susan Jeffers.

Our Second Section Is Business

This is my personal favourite section and narrowing this down to just 4 was hard, but here's the best of the best when it comes to business books.

My Tips For Business + Resources (That Totally Work For Blogging)

Posted by Hayley Esther on Sunday, November 03, 2024
Dear Readers,

Happy New Year!

In order to help you make  your year as successful as possible, I have compiled a list of my tips and go to resources to help kick start  your business. This is my new year gift to you.

You are welcome.

Before I get started, please feel free to read only the sections that apply to you, although you are very welcome to read the whole thing.

If you have any questions please do get in touch, I'm more than happy to help you if I can.

Okay then, let's get started by getting the longest section out-of-the-way!

1.Preparation Is Everything.

Organisation is very important to ensure that your business runs as smoothly as possible and you don't waste valuable time. That's pretty much a given, but what people don't usually think of is how important it is to have a backup plan. It's really important to spend some time working out what you will do if your business starts to fail.

Do you have some ideas of how you could get your business back on track?

Do you know where you're going?

Gaining clarity on where you are going is super important and this needs to happen right at the beginning of your business, preferably before launch.

If you fail to do this, you will be setting yourself up for failure.

Also be aware that no matter how amazing your business is, not everyone is going to like you or believe in you, that is completely okay, they are entitled to their opinion, but don't let what people, even people in your close circle, think of you take you off base.

Again this is far less likely to happen if you plan for it. Have some polite but firm statements on your position rehearsed and written down for when you can't just ignore the naysayers ( because maybe the naysayer in question is a family member)

Make your statement, stay polite and focused but if the person questioning you refuses to listen, don't let that get to you. It can be so tempting the early stages of a new blog or business, to give up when people you care about don't share your dream but remember this is your dream, don't expect anyone else to see it the way you do because they won't. ( especially if your dream goes against the grain of what is deemed a proper job these days)

All of this perpetration stage could be covered if you make a business plan, even if your business or blog is not intended for making a profit, it's still a really important step. There are lots of different ways to do this, it's even possible to make a one page business plan, how you do it is not important. It's just really important that you take some time to do a bit of planning. It makes all the difference.

2.Have A Good Key-Chain.

There is not just one key to success in business, there are several but establishing a really strong network is really vital because sometimes the key you are looking for, is a person.

Not only is a good idea to connect with people in your industry, or similar industries via social media, but it is also a good idea to have a look at your friendship circle and see if you know anyone that could help you in a certain area of your business. One of my closest friends is a marketing expert. Another of my close friends is really good at coding ( something I hate) and others still are artists, writers of a different field and fantastic administrators and researchers.

Life is about helping each other and growing, if you think about  blogging, what this looks like is simply leaving genuine comments on other people's blogs. People are far more likely to check out your work if they see you care about what they have to say.

Also be engaged with your audience, if you get comments, tweets etc...make sure you reply.

3.Be True To You

I know I just said that networking is important and it is, but at the same time you need to make sure that you are only networking with people who enrich your life and business.

Once you have established the direction of your blog or business, then you should know what kind of people you want to be connected with, connect with the people who make you happy to have them in your contact list.

Don't feel like you have to talk to everyone because they might possibly be a future customer. Your focus matters but so does your health, convictions and happiness, don't compromise on any of these just to gain a new customer.

You may gain that customer but you will lose many more that liked the real you and that is just really sad.

You will figure out your focus when you are true to your own heart because this brings out your passion and passion is something that impacts the success of your business greatly.

4.Move With The Times.

Trends change and grow, they evolve and take twists and turns, its important for anyone in business to make sure that they are keeping up with the trends of today so they can create the demand of tomorrow.

There is no point in blogging about how to use video cassettes because they are now redundant for the most part.

A good way to make sure that your business is current is to see what else your customers are paying attention to and then what kind of content your competition is producing. Amazon comments can be great for this.

5.Balance it baby!

Life is not meant to be all work or all play. We need a balance of both in order to feel fulfilled.  I absolutely detest the idea of chasing happiness. I believe in chasing fulfillment instead. A key way of doing that is by living in the moment and enjoying the life you have and the people who are in it, and making sure you take care of yourself too. Yes, building your business is important to you, but if you don't have anyone to share your success with, then what is the point?

Family and friends matter, don't neglect them in pursuit of success. It's not worth it!

Also, the more enriched your life is by things outside of your business, the more you will have the energy to focus on your business.

There will be times when you have to make sacrifices but don't work too hard, burning out is not going to be a good thing for you or your business.

If you don't check out any of my other resource recommendations please do check out this one, it's really important you understand what working too much could do to you.

Please take care.

6.Don't be Beige.

Standing out is the only way to make people take notice of you. Don't be beige it's boring. Beige stays in the comfort box, doesn't take risks and doesn't make a difference. Some of you reading this will only be wanting to make success from your business, but some of you may well be looking to make history.

Did beige ever do that?

No, not unless it counts for being the most boring and depressing colour ever.
Being undecided is just not an option if you want to make it in the business world. Taking risks is just part of the deal. Running a business is hard work, beige would take the short cut, stay in the middle and be satisfied with less than the best.

Don't do that.

If fear is an issue for you then Susan Jeffers book could be as life changing for you as it was for me.

7.If You Want Customers To Care, Your Customer Care Needs To Be Top Notch

You've heard it before but taking care of your customers should be your number one priority, you wouldn't even have a business without them. Again, this comes into the business integrity issue, but more than that it's about making someone's day and ultimately getting them to keep coming back and tell others about your business and how you gave them such good customer service!

If you look after them, how can they not come back?

8. Be Tigger

Those of you who know me in real life will know that I am the girl who has been knocked down more times than I can count, but I am also the girl who has gotten up more times than most. You have to.

Tigger never ever stops bouncing, you shouldn't either.

You can't predict what is going to happen in life but you are responsible for how you react. Get up and keep going, if you have a dream then make it happen, no one else is going to do it for you and you are the right person for the job.

Business, like life is a roller-coaster, and you do have to learn to roll with the punches, but it is worth it in the long run. If being your own boss is the thing you need to do to be fulfilled in life, then get up and make something awesome happen!

Remember any issue you have in business is likely to already have been experienced by someone else and chances are that someone has written a book or uploaded a video on that very topic. Don't be afraid to reach out, it can create great working relationships  and is good for your health, well-being and business.

We are designed to grow, if we stay still too long, we usually wind up falling and looking back. Also, don't neglect your spiritual growth and take some time out just to relax and be at peace.
Don't think you know it all, stay teachable and keep learning, keep growing and make your business awesome, because you can.

You just need to believe that and get to work.

Over the next few months we will be unpacking these tips once every two weeks.

Why so spaced out?

Because I want you to have ample time to apply each tip. Rushing this will only lead to a crash and I don't  want that for you, so please do take your time to use these tips as starting point to dive in deeper in each subject.

See you next post!

How To Do It All (and still be relatively sane)

Self Love For Bloggers

There is a delicate balance as a blogger, between reading or watching things because it's research for our own blog, and watching and reading things just because we enjoy it.

I am convinced true life balance is a complete illusion.

I have believed perfect work/life balance was a myth for many years work-life/balance requires perfection, this is an unrealistic goal to be chasing.

None of us is perfect so why chase perfection?

With that in mind, the title of this post claims the content you are reading contains advice on how to juggle life as a blogger.

It does.

Trust me I am getting to that, but before I give you my tips for managing blogging and life, I first needed to set the scene just so I can give you what I think is the number one most valuable self-loving thing you can do for yourself as a blogger, and indeed a person.

Don't put so much pressure on yourself,
take some time every day just for you.

You can't make your blog as awesome as you want to if you don't have the energy to take care of you.

Only then will you be on top of your game to take care of your blog or whatever else you need to do.

1. Remember the three C's

  1. Consistency
  2. Connections
  3. Cut it down!
The 3 Cs of Sane Living

Consistently putting our goals into little tasks will make life a lot less stressful and increase productivity but we were designed for a relationship so there will come a point where we can no longer do things on our own.

How does this apply to bloggers?

We can consistently create all the content we want to, but if we don't network we won't likely have any readers!

1. Building relationships is a beautiful necessity.

If your blog is your business, then I can understand why you feel like you want to do everything yourself I get it, trust me I do.

It is your blog and you want to make it what you want it to be. That is more than fair enough, but if you reach out to other with different skills, and focus on your own strengths you will make some new friends, create a more professional feel on your blog and be less stressed because you have delegated those things you're not so good at to other people.

2. Mix it up!

Set some time to research how a bunch of different people handle juggling blogging and life, then cherry-pick the tips you like, find what works for you and create your own unique schedule that is perfect for you.

3. Preparation is everything

The one thing that everyone needs to do in order to have a schedule that will be productive is planning ahead. There are many ways to do this.

Some people schedule their blog posts, others have life management files, others still use calendars, agendas or dairies and then there are those people like me that do all of the above.

Whatever you decide to use to manage your life, make sure you do plan ahead.

Knowing you already handled certain things frees up time to do other things and is an excellent stress killer!

4. See yourself as a whole person and plan accordingly.

If you see yourself as just flesh and bones and forget about taking care of yourself emotionally and psychologically then your body will suffer for this.

Make sure before you take on new tasks that you are mentally, emotionally and physically up to the challenge at hand. If not then don't be afraid to say no.

We've come full circle, it really is super important to take care of you before you worry about all the demands of life.

5. Keep it simple.

You knew this one was coming, this entire blog is about simplicity after all!

The key thing you need to remember when creating a plan to manage your life is how your plan is serving you. A good management plan should be simple, help you be productive and on task to complete your goals and NOT a burden!

There is a big difference between being stretched or challenged and feeling overwhelmed or burdened, but that's a whole other post.

Anyway, I need to follow my own advice and look after myself and go eat something so I will leave it there.

Transforming Your Wardrobe for Joy: A Journey to a Happier You

Posted by Hayley Esther on Monday, May 27, 2024

Transforming Your Wardrobe for Joy: A Journey to a Happier You

Clothing is more than just fabric that covers our bodies; it’s a powerful tool for self-expression, confidence, and joy. The clothes we wear can significantly impact our mood and how we interact with the world. If you find yourself standing in front of a closet full of clothes yet feeling like you have nothing to wear, it might be time to revamp your wardrobe with joy in mind. Here’s how you can transform your wardrobe to bring more happiness into your life.

 1. Declutter with Purpose

The first step to a joyful wardrobe is decluttering. Go through each item in your closet and ask yourself whether it brings you joy. This concept, popularized by Marie Kondo's KonMari method, encourages you to keep only those pieces that spark joy. Letting go of clothes that no longer serve you or make you happy can be liberating. Donate or sell items that don’t fit, are out of style, or simply don’t make you feel good.

 2. Identify Your Style and Needs

Take some time to reflect on your personal style and the needs of your lifestyle. Are you drawn to vibrant colors and bold patterns, or do you prefer neutral tones and classic cuts? Your wardrobe should reflect your personality and make you feel authentic. Additionally, consider your daily activities and ensure your clothes are practical and versatile. A balanced wardrobe should cater to your professional, casual, and special occasion needs.

 3. Invest in Quality, Not Quantity

Quality over quantity is a mantra for a joyful wardrobe. Instead of buying multiple pieces of fast fashion, invest in high-quality, timeless pieces that will last. Well-made clothes not only look better but also feel better to wear. When you invest in quality, you’re more likely to cherish and take care of your clothes, leading to a more sustainable and joyful wardrobe.

 4. Incorporate Color and Texture

Colors can significantly affect our mood. Incorporate colors that make you happy and confident into your wardrobe. Don’t be afraid to experiment with textures and patterns as well. A mix of textures can make your outfits more interesting and joyful. Whether it’s a soft cashmere sweater, a silk scarf, or a pair of leather boots, the tactile experience of wearing different textures can enhance your overall sense of well-being.

5. Create Outfit Formulas

Having a few go-to outfit formulas can make dressing in the morning a joy rather than a chore. An outfit formula is a simple combination of pieces that you know works well together. For example, a tailored blazer, a crisp white shirt, and a pair of well-fitted jeans could be one of your formulas. By having these formulas, you reduce decision fatigue and make getting dressed a pleasant experience.

6. Prioritize Comfort and Fit

Clothes that fit well and are comfortable to wear can drastically improve your mood. Make sure your clothes fit your body well and don’t cause discomfort. It’s worth getting items tailored if necessary. When you’re comfortable in your clothes, it shows in your confidence and overall demeanor.

 7.Personalize with Accessories

Accessories can add a touch of joy to any outfit. Whether it’s a statement necklace, a colorful scarf, or a pair of funky socks, accessories allow you to express your personality and creativity. They can also make old outfits feel new again. Choose accessories that make you smile and that you love to wear.

 8. Embrace Seasonal Changes

Changing your wardrobe with the seasons can bring a sense of renewal and excitement. Rotate your clothes to reflect the current season, storing off-season items out of sight. This keeps your wardrobe feeling fresh and ensures you’re always dressed appropriately for the weather. Plus, it gives you something to look forward to as the seasons change.

 9. Sustainable Choices for Joy

Being mindful of the environmental impact of your wardrobe can also bring joy. Choose sustainable brands, buy second-hand, and support ethical fashion practices. Knowing that your clothing choices are contributing to a better world can enhance your sense of joy and fulfillment.

10. Celebrate Your Wardrobe

Lastly, take time to celebrate your wardrobe. Organize it in a way that is pleasing to the eye, maybe even color-coordinated or by type of clothing. Enjoy the process of putting together outfits and appreciate the pieces you own. When you take pride in your wardrobe, it becomes a source of joy rather than stress.

Changing your wardrobe for joy isn’t about following trends or impressing others; it’s about creating a collection of clothes that make you feel your best. By focusing on quality, comfort, and personal expression, you can transform your wardrobe into a source of daily happiness. Remember, the goal is to feel good in what you wear and to let your clothes be a true reflection of your joyful self.

Unlocking Your Potential: The Power of Changing Your Mindset

Unlocking Your Potential: The Power of Changing Your Mindset

In a world where challenges are inevitable and success often seems elusive, one of the most powerful tools at our disposal is our mindset. It shapes our perceptions, influences our reactions, and ultimately determines our life's trajectory. Changing your mindset is not just a motivational catchphrase; it's a transformative process that can unlock your potential and pave the way for a more fulfilling and successful life. Let's explore the steps to change your mindset and the profound impact it can have on you.

Understanding Mindset

Before diving into how to change your mindset, it's crucial to understand what mindset is. Psychologist Carol Dweck popularized the concept of fixed and growth mindsets in her groundbreaking research. A fixed mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence are static and unchangeable. People with a fixed mindset often avoid challenges, give up easily, and feel threatened by the success of others. In contrast, a growth mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through effort, learning, and perseverance. Those with a growth mindset embrace challenges, persist through obstacles, and view failure as an opportunity to learn.

The Importance of a Growth Mindset

Adopting a growth mindset can lead to numerous benefits, including:

1. **Increased Resilience**: People with a growth mindset are more resilient in the face of setbacks. They see challenges as opportunities to grow rather than insurmountable obstacles.
2. **Enhanced Learning**: A growth mindset fosters a love for learning and a desire to improve, leading to continuous personal and professional development.
3. **Better Relationships**: Embracing a growth mindset can improve relationships by promoting empathy, open communication, and a willingness to understand and support others.
4. **Greater Achievement**: Those with a growth mindset are more likely to set ambitious goals and achieve them, as they believe in their capacity to grow and succeed.

Steps to Change Your Mindset

Changing your mindset is a journey that requires self-awareness, effort, and persistence. Here are some practical steps to help you transition from a fixed to a growth mindset:

1. **Acknowledge and Challenge Your Fixed Mindset Thoughts**: The first step is to become aware of your fixed mindset thoughts. When you catch yourself thinking, "I can't do this" or "I'm just not good at this," challenge these thoughts. Ask yourself, "What can I learn from this?" or "How can I improve?"

2. **Embrace Challenges**: Instead of avoiding difficult tasks, seek them out. Embrace challenges as opportunities to grow and learn. Remember, every challenge you overcome strengthens your growth mindset.

3. **Learn from Criticism**: Constructive criticism is a valuable tool for growth. Instead of taking it personally, use it as feedback to improve. Reflect on the criticism, identify areas for development, and take action.

4. **Celebrate Effort and Progress**: Focus on the effort you put into tasks rather than just the outcomes. Celebrate your progress, no matter how small. This reinforces the belief that effort leads to improvement.

5. **Cultivate Curiosity and a Love for Learning**: Stay curious and open to new experiences. Read, take courses, and engage in activities that expand your knowledge and skills. A love for learning is a cornerstone of the growth mindset.

6. **Surround Yourself with Growth-Minded People**: The people you spend time with can influence your mindset. Surround yourself with individuals who have a growth mindset and support your journey. Engage in conversations that inspire and challenge you.

7. **Practice Self-Compassion**: Changing your mindset is not about achieving perfection. Be kind to yourself and recognize that growth is a continuous process. When you encounter setbacks, treat yourself with the same compassion you would offer another person.

The Impact of a Changed Mindset

The journey to a growth mindset is transformative. By changing your mindset, you open yourself up to a world of possibilities. You'll find that you're more resilient, more open to learning, and more capable of achieving your goals. Your relationships will improve, and you'll approach life's challenges with a newfound sense of confidence and determination.

In conclusion, changing your mindset is not a one-time event but a lifelong journey. It requires dedication, practice, and a willingness to embrace change. By shifting from a fixed to a growth mindset, you can unlock your potential and create a more fulfilling and successful life. Start today, and watch as your world transforms.
