The Good News of Jesus + Answers to common questions

The Gospel in a few minutes

Christianity begins with God’s love and our need. God made us for relationship with Him, but sin breaks that relationship. We can’t fix ourselves by being “good enough.”

Jesus Christ — God’s Son — lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again. He offers forgiveness and new life as a gift of grace.

“For God so loved the world…” — Jesus invites us to believe and receive life.
John 3:16 (Bible)
Saved by grace — not earned, but received through faith.
Ephesians 2:8–9 (Bible)

How to respond

  1. Turn to God — be honest about sin and your need.
  2. Trust Jesus — His death and resurrection are enough.
  3. Follow Him — learn, pray, join a church community.
A simple prayer (optional)

“God, I confess I’ve sinned and I need Your mercy. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. Please forgive me, make me new, and help me follow Jesus. Amen.”

Questions people ask

Tap a question to expand. Use the search box to filter.

Is Christianity just about rules?

At its center, Christianity is about a relationship with God through Jesus — not rule-keeping to earn love. Obedience matters, but it flows from grace, not into grace.

Why did Jesus have to die?

Sin is serious, and justice matters. The cross is where God’s love and justice meet: Jesus took our sin and gave us His righteousness, so we can be forgiven and reconciled to God.

How do I know God is real?

People point to the existence and order of the universe, the reality of moral truth, and the historical case for Jesus’ resurrection. Many also speak of personal transformation through Christ.

What about suffering — why does God allow it?

The Bible teaches God can bring good even from evil, and He is not distant from our pain: in Jesus, God entered suffering. Christianity doesn’t give a shallow answer, but a Person to trust.

Do Christians believe science is bad?

No. Many Christians value science as the study of God’s creation. There are different Christian views on origins, but Christianity itself is not anti-science.

Aren’t there contradictions in the Bible?

Some passages are hard and require context (genre, audience, translation). Many apparent contradictions have reasonable explanations, but it’s wise to read carefully and ask good questions.

Is Jesus the only way?

Christianity teaches salvation is found in Jesus because He uniquely deals with sin and reconciles us to God. The claim is bold — and it’s tied to who Jesus is and what He did.

What if I’ve done terrible things?

The message of grace is for real guilt and real brokenness. Forgiveness in Christ is not minimized by your past. It’s magnified by it. Healing often includes confession, making things right where possible, and new habits.

How do I start reading the Bible?

Start with the Gospel of John (to meet Jesus), then Mark (fast overview), then Ephesians (the meaning of grace). Read a little daily, ask “What does this show me about God?” and “How should I respond?”

How can I pray if I don’t know what to say?

Keep it honest and simple: praise, confess, ask, and thank God. You can also pray the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6:9–13) as a guide.

Understanding Mindset Before diving into how to change your mindset, it's crucial to understand what mindset is. Transforming Your Wardrobe for Joy: A Journey to a Happier You

Transforming Your Wardrobe for Joy: A Journey to a Happier You Clothing is more than just fabric that covers our bodies; it’s a powerful tool for self-expression, confidence, and joy. The clothes we wear can significantly impact our mood and how we interact with the world. If you find yourself standing in front of a closet full of clothes yet feeling like you have nothing to wear, it might be time to revamp your wardrobe with joy in mind. Here’s how you can transform your wardrobe to bring more happiness into your life.  1.  Declutter with Purpose The first step to a joyful wardrobe is decluttering. Go through each item in your closet and ask yourself whether it brings you joy. This concept, popularized by Marie Kondo's KonMari method, encourages you to keep only those pieces that spark joy. Letting go of clothes that no longer serve you or make you happy can be liberating. Donate or sell items that don’t fit, are out of style, or simply don’t make you feel good.  2...

Sort It Out September - Authentic Faith: Living With A Vexed Soul

Last post, I told you that I am a Christian Universalist.  My definition of this is believing that any path can lead to Jesus but the only way to the Father is through the Son. That said, I need to build from here.  I have to be delicate this post, as I know that people around the world are in grief, and we as a world are in a time of great uncertainty.  I'm choosing not to comment on the passing of Queen Elizabeth, other then to say I'm not commenting on it but I am trying to write with the greatest of delicacy and respect today.  Let's just say I know who my audience are, and I don't believe my opinions or comments on recent events will bring anything enlightening.  If you haven't got anything worth saying then just don't. I live by that.  At present, I'm treating my blog more like a ministry than a business, and I'm in one of those moments where what makes sense for ministry would not make sense for business.  This is the moment we cross over, back ...
